- Under "Ready to Sign Up" on the homepage, simply start by entering your e-mail address, and click on "Continue."
- Enter your full name and e-mail address in twice (we have you enter it twice just to insure that it is entered in correctly.)
- Select a User Name and Password that you will use to log-on to your "My Account" page.
- Provide us with up to three phone numbers (residence, mobile etc.) that you would like to register with us. When making calls from these phone numbers you will NOT have to enter your account number (PIN) after you dial the access phone number. If you do not wish to register a phone number, please just leave them blank.
- Select an amount ($10, $15, $20, $25, $50, $100) you'd like to start with on your account
- Choose the Payment Method. For your convenience, we accept both U.S. and International Credit Cards, U.S. Debit Card (card attached to your U.S. bank account), and Paypal as a form of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
- Click on the "Submit" button. We will send you an activation e-mail to your e-mail account. And then a Welcome E-mail which will provide you with your account information including dialing instructions and your account number (PIN.)
For your convenience, we take both U.S. and International Credit Cards, U.S. Debit Card (card attached to your U.S. bank account), and Paypal as a form of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
No. Since the service is PREPAID, you do not a Social Security Number or any sort of credit history.
No. For your security, since calling from registered phone numbers DO NOT require you to enter an account number (PIN), please DO NOT register a phone number that might be used by other parties. Since all calls made from that phone number using our access phone number will be charged to your account. When dialing from a residence phone use the account number (PIN) provided in the welcome e-mail.
Yes. Mobile phone users are able to place calls from an existing mobile phone, using a current US-domestic plan. You will using your US-domestic minutes for the airtime (our low per minute charge is for the international connection) If you do have a US-Domestic mobile phone plan where you have free nights and weekends, then an international call made during these times will only cost you our low per minute charge for the international connection.
Yes. When you sign-up, you will be given the opportunity to enter up to three phone numbers to use your service from (mobile, residence, etc.). When making calls from these phone numbers you will NOT have to enter your account number (PIN) after you dial the access phone number You are able to make a phone call from any phone number by simply dialing the access phone number, waiting for the voice prompt, and then entering your account number (PIN) before you enter the phone number you are going to call.
No. Our service works from any mobile or landline phone number regardless of carrier.
Yes. We use only Tier 1 long-distance providers such as Qwest & AT&T to provide our long distance network.
No, the rates include all applicable taxes. There are no monthly charges or connection fees.
You can check rates to any country from our Home Page, under the "Utalk offers great rates" tab. Also before we connect your call, our system will tell you exactly how much you are paying per minute for the call.
No. As long as you use the service at least once every six months, your account will stay active and your balance will not expire.
You can start using the service immediately after you've signed up for a new account or added money (recharged) an existing one.
With your "My Account" page you can manage your account with us on-line. With "My Account", you can:

Registered Phone Numbers - Register up to three phone numbers when you sign up. When you call from these phone numbers, just dial the access phone number, wait for the voice prompt and enter the number you want to call. Don't have to enter a PIN.
Non-Registered Phone Numbers - Call from any phone by dialing the access phone number, wait for the voice prompt, enter your account number (PIN), wait for the prompt and then enter the number you want to call.
We have a dedicated Customer Care Team available to you 24 hours a day/7 days a week if you ever have any questions or issues with the service. You can e-mail our Customer Care Team at support@mobile-sphere.com or call us Toll-Free at 1-866-456-3176. This includes everything from signing up for the service, dialing instructions to call connection problems. They will work with you until your questions are answered or your problem is resolved.
Yes! If you refer a friend or relative, we will credit your account with $5 free calling. Simply go log on to your "My Account" page and click on the "Refer a Friend" link.
There are two easy ways to add money (recharge) your account:
- "My Account" page: Click on the "Recharge Now" link
- Recharge by Phone: Simply dial our access number and press *1# to recharge. You will be prompted to select the amount to recharge on your CURRENT credit card on file with us.
Yes. The feature is called Auto Recharge. By enrolling in Auto Recharge, you enable us to process your recharges automatically once your account balance reaches a low balance. Enrolling for Auto Recharge also insures that you never run out of credit and prevents the potential issue of calls dropping out in mid-conversation. Best of all, we automatically add money to your account so you never have to worry about it. To enroll for Auto Recharge simply log on to your My Account and click on "Auto Recharge Settings."
No. At this time you are only able to set up Auto Recharge for your account if you have a U.S. or International Credit Card or US Debit Card on file.
Our Speed Dial feature allows you to enter up to 99 entries into your online address book via "My Account." To access each entry, all you need to do is dial the access number and enter the speed dial code (1-99) followed by the # sign.
Yes. The phone number you are calling from has to be registered to your account. All you have to do is dial the access phone number, wait for the voice prompt and enter in *9#
Once you sign up for an account with us, you are able to send Domestic text messages for FREE and international text messages for only 10 cents a text through the "Send SMS" link in your "My Account" page.
Yes. When you sign up you can register up to three phone numbers that you can use our service from without entering an account number (PIN.) You can update and/or add registered phone numbers at anytime by going to your "My Account" and clicking on "Update Phone Number" link.
No. Only one account per phone line can be set up.
Yes. The service is not specialized to be used from just your school. Since it can be used from anywhere in the U.S. and select international countries, you can continue to use the service as long as you are in these locations.
Yes. Use our service from select countries overseas from landlines and local mobile phones and pay the same low rates. Great for when you are, traveling or for your friends and family to use to call you. Just use the access phone number for that country which can be found by clicking the "Overseas Access Phone Numbers" link in your "My Account" page
The service works from these countries: U.S., Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
Yes. Our service works from 16 other countries besides the U.S.. These countries are: Japan, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the U.K., Brazil, France, Pakistan, Argentina, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Australia, Norway, Sweden, and Chile.
If you would like to make a call from these countries and want to register the phone number you are calling from (so you don't have to enter a PIN when making the call) you can do so by logging into your My Account and clicking on the Update Phone Numbers link.
Yes, you can use the service from select other countries and pay the same low per minute rate as you would if you were making the call from the United States.
Yes. If you are using a prepaid mobile phone to make international calls using our service, you will be using your prepaid minutes for the airtime and will be charged our low per minute rate for the international connection.
No. It does not double as a mobile phone plan from any other country outside of the U.S. However it does work from 19 other countries outside of the U.S. from landlines and local mobile phones.
These 19 countries outside the U.S.where you can use our service from landlines and local mobile phones are: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
Yes. If you use our service from a mobile phone that indicates that it is roaming either within the US or from select countries outside the US where we have access, you will incur these charges from your mobile phone service provider. Our service does not eliminate these roaming charges.
Registered Phone Number: (you have gone into your My Account and registered the phone number, so when you place a call from that phone number, our system recognizes it and you do not have to enter your PIN)
- Dial the Access Phone Number for the country you are calling from:
- Dial the number you are calling followed by the # sign:
·For Domestic: City Code + Local Number (normal format for when you are placing a call within that country)
· For International: International Code+ Country Code + City Code + Local Number (normal format for when you make an international call from that country)
Non-Registered Phone Number (we need you to enter your PIN because you are making a call from a phone number that is not registered in our system)
- Dial the Access Phone Number for the country you are calling from:
- Enter your PIN
- Dial the number you are calling followed by the # sign:
· For Domestic: City Code + Local Number (normal format for when you are placing a call within that country)

Yes. We now have Apps for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Windows Mobile smartphones. With our CellularLD feature, you can simply register your mobile phone number with us and place seamless (No PIN required) international calls from your mobile phone. Now with our CellularLD Apps for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Windows Mobile, you don't even have to dial the access phone number. Yes. In order to use the CellularLD App from your BlackBerry or Windows Mobile phone you must have that phone number registered for your calling account. You can register the phone number when you sign up for an account or modify the existing registered phone numbers by clicking on the "Update Phone Numbers" link in your My Account.
No. CellularLD Apps will only work when you are in the U.S. calling overseas.
